When a Henderson isn't a Henderson
During the end of the road in the late 1960's and early 1970's, the original Peter Henderson Ltd. company farmed out many orders to other makers. What came back were bagpipes that didn't conform to Henderson specifications either inside or out. Here are a few examples, all bearing the Henderson stamp. What is sad is that even after telling some owners what they indeed had, some chose to pawn these off as genuine Henderson bagpipes.
