Unknown # 100
This bagpipe is made of sheesham wood with elephant ivory mounts, rings and bushings. It also has ferrules and tuning slide make of a white metal engraved with a thistle design. Most would recognize this bagpipe as having been made somewhere in the Middle East. Before you scoff, this bagpipe was played at a high level and sounds and behaves like a well-made bagpipe. It is very likely that this was made by someone in the Middle East during British occupation.
