Just a very unique bagpipe, shown here courtesy of Ross MacKenzie at Source Bagpipes. Ross acquired it from an elderly gentleman in London who owned it for 70 years. It was quite old when he purchased it and it is believed to be from the later half of the 19th century. Very hard to say however this level of detail and craftsmanship is rarely seen today. There’s nothing about this bagpipe that I don’t like. Everything is tasteful and speaks to the skill of the maker. I’d love to find a stamp on it somewhere.
