I think the wood is Lignum Vitae with Purple Heart projecting mounts. The metal is probably nickel. There is a name stamped into the top of the chanter and, in this case, it would be a reliable means of identifying the maker. Unfortunately I cannot make out the makers name from the pictures I have. Any help would be much appreciated.
